Welcome to Doozy. By using our order protection services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Doozy's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Doozy provides order protection services for online purchases. When customers opt-in to Doozy protection at checkout, their orders are covered against loss, damage, or theft during shipping. Our services include claim processing and resolution through replacement or refund.

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Have made a purchase from a merchant using Doozy protection
  • Have opted-in to Doozy protection at checkout
  • Provide accurate and complete information

4. Coverage and Limitations

What's Covered:

  • Packages lost in transit (not delivered within carrier's estimated timeframe)
  • Packages damaged during shipping
  • Packages stolen after delivery (porch piracy)

What's Not Covered:

  • Orders where Doozy protection was not purchased
  • Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer
  • Items refused or returned by the customer
  • Damage caused by the customer after delivery
  • Orders involving fraud or misrepresentation
  • Prohibited items or items that violate applicable laws

5. Claims Process

To file a claim:

  • Claims must be filed within 30 days of the expected delivery date
  • You must provide your email and order number
  • You may be required to provide additional documentation
  • We reserve the right to verify claims with merchants and carriers

Most claims are processed within 24-48 hours. Resolution may include a replacement shipment or refund at our discretion.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Not submit fraudulent claims
  • Cooperate with any investigation into your claim
  • Not abuse or misuse our services

7. Merchant Terms

Merchants using the Doozy plugin agree to integrate our services into their checkout process and cooperate with claim investigations. Merchants receive a revenue share for protection plans sold through their stores.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doozy's liability is limited to the cost of the protected order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
